Venues move through announcement, planning, approval and construction before they open, and many announced sites never get built. Each row below says which stage the site had reached on the date shown, links to the page we read it on, and gives an opening date only when the operator or council has published one. When a venue opens and we can verify it, it moves into the main tables.
